Alfira is a stunningly red and black female who takes after her mother a lot in looks, but has her father's adorable personality. She is exactly what we were hoping for when we made the decision to breed Asia with Yukon. ​She is of medium size with a feminine, friendly face that is very expressive. This girl was born to be a nanny, an will often mischievously find her way into a puppy pen or room just so that she can lay or play with the little ones! She is an uncomplicated dog who just wants to please and be a part of whatever we are doing - be it hanging out on the couch or shopping for a building project at the Hardware store. She has a lot of self confidence and aprouches new situations happily

PEDIGREE

 

      Alfira is the result of combining some of our favorite bloodlines. She is a daughter of our Asia vom Seelenvoll and Yukon team Casa Ortiz. This combines VA Fight vom Holtkämper Hof, granddaughter of VA1 Omen v. Radhaus, VA1 Yoker v. Leithawald, 2x VA1 Remo v. Fichtenschlag, 2x VA1 Vegas du Haut Mansard, 3x VA Peik vom Holtkämper Hof, and 2x VA Arex v. d. Wilhelmswarte.​

HEALTH

Alfira is a third generation girl of Seelenvoll, and her health clearances reflect this!

 

Her PennHip scores are RDI: 0.31 and LDI: 0.25, which puts her in the top percentile of tested dogs in the breed. With the average being 0.42, that is pretty amazing!

 

Her elbows were also xrayed and graded as "Normal" by OFA, which is the best result.

While she is clear by parentage for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), she is also tested as Clear for DM and 255 other genetic diseases through her Embark Panel. This includes Hemophilia (Blood Disorder) and MDR1 (Multi-Drug Resistance). This means that even if bred with a dog who is Affected/At Risk for any of these diseases and disorders she cannot produce them in her puppies.

Before being an official part of our breeding program Alfira will be checked by a Canine Ophthalmologist and Cardiologist and cleared for Heart / Eye Clearances. She will also have he elbows xrayed between the age of one and two years.
